It started as a repair.
A jacket came apart at the shoulder and got closed again with a chain-stitch machine and the wrong colour thread. It looked better broken and mended than it ever had new. Everything since has been a version of that idea.
We do not print. Marks are chain-stitched or embroidered, leather is saddle-stitched, and hardware is carved and cast in .925 at a bench a few feet from the sewing floor. It is slow, it is expensive, and it is the only way the object holds up to the story told about it.
The name is the Greek one for the right moment rather than the measured hour — the distinction between time you count and time that is worth something. It is a fair description of what you are paying for here.

How it works
Blanks in stock. Work to order.
Seventy bodies — seven shapes in ten colorways — are cut and dyed ahead and held blank. Nothing carries a graphic, a season, or a drop date, so the ground you order from next year is the same ground you order from today.
What changes is what goes onto them. Every brief is logged with its thread codes and its stitch-out, so a piece can be repaired, extended, or matched years later — and so nobody else ever receives the one you wrote.
