Privacy policy

To fulfill an order: your name, shipping address, email, and phone number where you provide one. Payment card details are handled by our payment processor and never reach our servers.

To run the site: basic analytics about pages viewed and where visits came from, plus the contents of your bag, which is stored in your own browser rather than on our systems.

If you join the mailing list, we store the email address you submitted and the date you submitted it.

Order data exists so we can pick, ship, and support the order, and so we can meet tax and accounting obligations afterward.

Analytics exist so we can see which pages are failing people. It is aggregate, and we do not use it to build advertising profiles of individuals.

Our payment processor, our shipping carriers, and our email platform each receive the minimum they need to perform their part. They are contractually barred from using it for anything else.

We do not sell, rent, or trade personal information. Where the law compels disclosure, we comply with the narrowest response the request permits.

Order records are held for seven years to satisfy accounting requirements. Mailing list entries are held until you unsubscribe, and analytics data is retained in aggregate for twenty-six months.

You can request a copy of what we hold, ask for corrections, or ask us to delete it, by writing to privacy@kairo.com. We respond within thirty days.

Every marketing email carries an unsubscribe link that takes effect immediately. Transactional email about an order you placed is not marketing and is not covered by that.

The site uses cookies and local storage to remember your bag and your preferences. Analytics cookies are optional and are only set once you accept them.

Blocking cookies entirely will leave the bag unable to remember its contents between visits.
